Marjorie Taylor Greeneslammed Donald Trump for his 'classless’ comments on the double murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele.

The Georgia firebrand, who has dueled with the President in recent months, told CNN that Trump’s attack on the late Hollywood legend was 'absolutely, completely below the office of the President of the United States.’

Reiner was murdered in his LA home alongside his wife, and their bodies were found by their daughter on Sunday.

His son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with his parents’ murders.

In the aftermath of the slayings, Trump appeared to blame Reiner and his wife’s killings on the liberal director’s 'Trump Derangement Syndrome’ in a much-criticized post on Truth Social.

He wrote that Reiner, a 'once very talented movie director and comedy star,’ passed away, 'reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease’ known as TDS – or Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The term is used by conservatives to describe disdain for the Republican President.

Trump’s post continued: 'He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness.’

After Trump doubled down on the remarks in the White House and said he thought the slain director was 'bad for our country’, Greene slated the President in an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Tuesday.

’I thought that statement was absolutely, completely below the office of the president of the United States,’ Greene said.

’Classless. And it was just wrong. That it’s a tragic murder. It’s a family ripped apart. And from my understanding, what I’ve seen on the news, it was drug abuse and mental illness.

’And many families across America deal with family members that are drug addicts or have mental health issues. And I think the president should’ve responded with compassion and talked about those issues.

’He didn’t have to make it about politics. And I think that was– it was really below what we expect our president to talk like.’

The Georgia congresswoman, who is resigning in January, announced her engagement to White House reporter Brian Glenn onMonday evening.

The 51-year-old was shown sporting a large engagement ring that she helped design, as Glenn posted a picture of the couple at a restaurant Monday evening, with the caption: 'She said „yes.”’

Glenn told the Daily Mail that the proposal happened at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab – where Trump made his one and only outing to a DC restaurant earlier this year. The eatery has South Florida roots.

’I called ahead to make sure I had our usual table in the back that has a curtain,’ he revealed via text message. 'After the waiter delivered the drinks to our table, I proposed to her via a surprise. And she said yes. We are both overjoyed and have shared the news with our families.’

The waiter, it just so happened, was the same person who served the President during his visit to the seafood restaurant, located two blocks from the White House.

Glenn referenced Greene’s upcoming resignation as he added: ”I’m sweeping her off her feet, getting her out of Washington.’
